Next week, we'll announce our $10,000 Grand Prize Winner Motion Comic, which will then grace the ions and electrodes of Marvel.com.
Our featured Youtube animations showed off the Five Finalists in our Fox Holiday Animation Challenge. We also gave you exclusive interviews with our FOX Finalists, on this here very same blog.
And, as all this was going on, we celebrated The Simpsons' 20th Anniversary in style. So, without further Apu, let's give y'all Simpsons addicts one more priceless clip, before I sleep the weekend away, so that I may return to you rested and ready to impart only the greatest Aniboom news there is!

Hello All!
It's been a very busy week here at Aniboom--as you all know, the Marvel Finalists Announcement has been delayed until October 26th (and again, we apologize for that). We're getting ready to start accepting Wildcard Submissions to the competition, that will last from October 26th through November 2nd, so keep on working on your Motion Comics!
We also are continuing to receive History Channel Competition Wildcards, which end on November 4th. We've received 36 incredible entries so far! You should totally check them out!
FOX is currently their Finalists, and we'll be excited to announce them (on time, natch!) on November 3rd. Check out the animations now--one will be FOX's next big Holiday Special!
We had some incredible Daily Animations on our top-ranked Youtube Channel, this week, including my personal favorite I've put below! But do check out Mirage (below), The Date, and Toaster Purse!
Things are really heating up here, and stay tuned, 'cause next week's gonna be a big one!

Aniboom's Marvel Motion Comics Competition has received so many top-notch Motion Comics, it isn't so easy for the judges to decide our Five Finalists. So to make sure every entry gets the attention it deserves, we'll be announcing the Finalists on October 26th.
The votes are in and counted, however, instead of announcing the Five Finalists on October 19th, we're rolling them out on the 26th! But fear not, True Believers, we still have our Wildcard Stage coming up soon, so you should keep working on completing your Motion Comics as the opportunity to win the Grand Prize remains open to everyone who submits complete work in the next stage!
We greatly apologize for the delay and for making all the hardworking First Round submitters wait even longer to find out who's a Finalist, and we genuinely thank you for your continued faith in us, and for your incredible work. Our hats are truly off to you.

Finishing up our Comic Con coverage, Larry has another exciting day at the world's biggest and best pop culture event. So without further ado, he're's the latest and greatest!
Comic Con Day 2
Another amazing day at Con.

(Larry "catches" a Pikachu izrmvh4te7 )
Today's highlight was announcing Aniboom's Marvel Motion Comic Initiative to a packed panel at Con. Nearly 1,000 fans showed up to get the get the details! The project launch was made by Joe Quesada, Marvel’s Editor In Chief – who as you probably guessed is a HUGE animation fan. He can't wait to see what YOU GUYS do with Marvel's comic art and scripts. The world is watching! On the panel with Joe were two of the world's great comic book artists -- Neal Adams (whose work on Batman and Green Lantern were my all time faves as a kid) and John Cassaday (his X-Men with Joss Wedon really were Astonishing). Other Marvel men on the panel included Publisher Dan Buckley and VP Interactive Ira Rubenstein.

(From left to right, Ira, Larry, Dan.)
Everyone of these professional fanboys said they are relying on the community of animators working on Aniboom’s Virtual Studio to step up and show the world what a Motion Comic can mean, and that the true meaning of a Motion Comic is up to an endless amount of interpretation. And for the first time anywhere, Marvel showed portions of their upcoming Spider-Woman Motion Comic by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev -– an original story being released FIRST as a Motion Comic and then as a print book. You can view the trailer here!
