We’re collaborating with Marvel Entertainment to bring you Aniboom’s Marvel Motion Comics Competition.
This promotion highlights one of Marvel’s hottest new entertainment categories and newest endeavor to refashion some of the world’s most popular comic book content into brand-new entertainment that remains true to the heritage of panel-by-panel graphic storytelling.
With groundbreaking graphics, sensational soundscapes and the explosiveness of the Marvel Universe, Marvel motion comics bring to life favorite comics, authors and artists in a never-before-seen way. This partnership will allow animators registered with the Aniboom community, which currently consists of nearly 8,000 professional-level animators, the opportunity to enter a competition to create unique motion comics inspired by comic book stories starring such renowned Super Heroes as the Hulk, Wolverine and Nova.

Today's featured animation comes from Michael Rokes, who brings us a hellish marriage in the heavens. With only grunts and glares, Bruno and Bertha fight mercilessly while they live in the clowds. They may grin to passing planes but they're at each others' throats the second they fly by. Rokes's story is an all-too relatable, but no less funny, showcase for a marriage on the rocks...but up in the clowds.

Santa Monica-based production company Logan teamed with the Date Farmers to create the stunning new video “a Volta”. The video features a post-apocalyptic environment where out of control, Mickey-mouse like robots run the show. These robots badmouth and shout swearwords in German while electrifying whoever pisses them off. The chaos goes perfectly with the music The chaotic video yield spectacular aesthetics and a great integration of music and motion. This is how Logan’s Alexei Tylevich describes the music-plot dynamics: “It’s a music track with a “plot” thinly stretched over it. I thought it might be clever to turn this video into a mini-film with a semblance of a plot…” (read the full interview here)
